The Opportunity


Come and discover the opportunity to join our BlueScope Distribution business in Clayton South as a Key Market Account Manager - Aluminium.

BlueScope Distribution is a provider of single-source product, processing and service solutions in steel and aluminium.

The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification.

BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.


Our business is expanding and adding brand new equipment to strengthen our processing capabilities to further support our customers now and in the future.

In this newly added role, you will build and grow strong partnering relationships with our customers, now and in the future.

While developing sales strategies, you will ensure profitable growth of revenue, margin, and market share for our BlueScope Distribution business within the aluminium space.

What Will You Do?
Based in Clayton South and covering the Melbourne metro market, you will:

  • identify new customers through building sustainable relationships with key stakeholders
  • including industry bodies and specialists
- work closely with the sales team to grow revenue, margin and market share within the aluminium space
- develop and execute targeted call cycles and account strategies aligning to business objectives, individual customer requirements and market conditions
- work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to resolve customer queries and deliver an exceptional service

More About You
Along with your ability to understand and uncover customer needs, transforming these into improved product and service offerings, you will bring:

  • experience in the development and execution of end-to-end targeted sales and growth strategies for targeted markets within the aluminium space
- exceptional relationship management and influencing capability
- the ability to understand customer requirements and create attractive product and service solutions
- previous experience within the manufacturing space, with exposure to CNC router machines beneficial
