The Opportunity
Come and discover the opportunity to join our BlueScope Distribution business in our Marketing team as a Marketing Coordinator. BlueScope Distribution is a single-source provider of steel and aluminium product, processing and service solutions.

The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification.

BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.

As a key member of the team, you will provide day-to-day marketing support to the BlueScope Distribution business.

You will have the opportunity to work on the development and delivery of marketing plans, across a variety of marketing projects and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and customers to support the effective roll-out of all marketing initiatives for our business.


Based in our Westall office in Clayton South, you will enjoy a hybrid work model, working a mix from in the office and from home.

What Will You Do?
To support the effective roll-out of marketing initiatives, you will:

  • work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to effectively develop and deliver marketing plans to help the business achieve its commercial objectives
- support the business to deliver an outstanding customer experience through integrated sales & marketing campaigns
- assist with the development and production of marketing materials and collateral
- maintain promotional materials and coordinate replenishment with external suppliers
- support the planning and coordinate the execution of trade shows, promotional and customer events
- maintain an internal database of contacts for targeted promotions and communication strategies including events and digital marketing campaigns

As an experienced marketing coordinator looking for your next challenge, you will bring:

  • an understanding of the marketing process and how your role contributes to the success of the organisation
- tertiary qualifications in marketing or related discipline
- effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to establish well thought out marketing strategies and communications
- ability to prioritise and manage conflicting deadlines, including an ability to work under time-pressure
