What You Will Be Doing
The Family Violence Program Manager provides strategic and operational leadership to a diverse, multi-disciplinary team.

This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of the family violence teams and programs, meeting service and budgetary deliverables, and ensuring the provision of high-quality services.


What You Need

We anticipate you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Business, Social Science or a related
field

  • If a psychologist, hold and maintain full registration with AHPRA; If a social worker,
eligibility for full membership with the AASW

  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Family Violence issues, traumainformed care
and No to Violence principles, standards and practice

  • Minimum of 10 years' of experience in health, social and/or community services programs,
including Family Violence

  • Strong financial management skills
  • Innovative strategic planning and leadership skills
  • Advanced risk assessment and management skills as they relate to men who use
violence

  • Proven interpersonal skills and a strong ability to build relationships and partnerships to
further agency objectives and improve client outcomes.

  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Initiative and accountability take responsibility for own actions
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and manage time effectively
  • Hold a current 'Working with Children check'
  • Hold a valid, current Victorian Driver's License.
