Training Manager

Location:

Remote but occasionally attend the Mac Park office, and it will require travel across the state to deliver the training.


Start Date: 30/01/2023

End Date:
June 30th 2023 with an extension

We are looking for an experienced Training Manager to assist across the development and delivery of training to a large scale end user base.

This will involve delivery of training on site within regional area's of NSW including Wagga, Dubbo, Wollongong and Parkes, therefore travel will be involved in this role.

This is working fio a large NSW Givernment Department based in Sydney.

The role:

This will work within a project team that is delivering a Health, Safety and Environment Data consolidation Platform.

This will consolidate a number of systems into one nd address gaps in the on-systems capture of HSE events, assurance activities, compliance activities and project data submissions.

This role will deliver training of the new system to a large scale user base and out to regional sites across NSW

The first 3 months of the assignment will involved the development of the training plan and change management communications, the next 3 months will involve development of Training packs and delivery of training and then the following 3 months will involve ongoing training.


Role Responsibilities:

Delivery of training to impacted staff across the organisation. This involves training to people out in the field and in the office) - the first quarter of the calendar year will involve the development of Training plans and training content and and the 2nd quarter of the year will involve the delivery of training. Following this another extension is likely for ongoing training needs.

Travel would be required prior to July Go live - fortnightly out to regional sites (ie Wagga, Parkes, Wollongong, Lithgow) so you will need to be comfortable with travel.

This role is predominantly training focused - 30,000 people across the org and at some stage anyone of these staff could use this system.

Will also assist with change management tasks, change impact analysis, stakeholder management.

Experience Required:

You will come with experience across training of a large scale system change/implementation.
Experienced across development and delivery of training within a unionised environment (preferred)
Experience across HSE systems training (desired)
Experience in the delivery of Training in the Transport sector (desired)
