**The opportunity**

Due to an internal promotion, we have a rare opportunity for a Training Manager to take their career to the next level and make a positive impact on our learners lives. On offer is a full-time position where no two weeks are the same working across the Sydney region. You will have the opportunity to work across many of our Sydney campuses and meet clients across multiple sites.

**About the role**

The Training Manager - (Skills Exchange Operations) is responsible for managing the operations for delivery of customised, Training solutions and pre-employment programs for specific TAFE Skills Exchange projects delivered across the construction industry. The position also develops and maintains strategic alliances and relationships with employers, enterprise, government stakeholders, other industry organisations and associations to ensure TAFE NSW is the preferred training provider for major infrastructure projects.

**About you**

You are known for your passion to deliver service excellence with demonstrated experience within the building/construction industry. You strive for individual and overall team success and have been able to demonstrate this with your experience in managing workforce capability development. You are people-focused with a natural ability to build strong relationships and have a talent for negotiating outcomes that benefit all parties involved.

Crucially, you are someone who shares the TAFE NSW Values of Integrity, Collaboration, Excellence and Customer First. This role would suit a former VET teacher/Head teacher with building / construction training delivery experience.

**Highly desirable**
- Previous experience working in a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
- Certificate 4 in training and assessment - TAE40116
