Unite Resourcing, a renowned labor hire company specializing in mining, civil, and construction, is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team.

Our client is requiring an experienced

Administration Assistant
***to join the team and cover one of their currently employees who is starting maternity leave in September 2023 until mid to late 2024.

The

Administration Assistant provides administrative support in a professional and efficient manner that contributes to organisational effectiveness and efficiency.

The Details:

  • The hours of work required are Monday
  • Thursday 8am 4pm, Friday 8 am 3.30pm.
  • You will be required to wear safety work boots
  • Maternity Leave Cover
until Mid 2024

Desirable Experience / Qualifications:

  • Experience in an administrative position (preferably one year minimum)
  • You will be required to work autonomously.
  • Accounting software is MYOB.
  • Proven Reception, Administration & Data Entry Experience.

The Duties:

  • Answer telephone enquiries in an efficient, friendly and professional manner
  • Write clear and concise messages and ensure the message is passed to the most appropriate person.
  • Maintain familiarity with the work/business operations so an enquiry can be promptly directed to the most appropriate employee.
  • Welcome and sign in visitors, advise the appropriate employee of their arrival;
  • General housekeeping of the office, reception, boardroom, kitchen and storeroom are to be kept clean, tidy and organized
  • Check all keys are signed in/out correctly and maintain registers.
  • Receive mail delivery, post all outgoing mail and have mail ready for the courier when necessary.
  • Maintain employee files, all contact details, licenses/permits.
  • Maintain stationery supplies through regular ordering.
  • Organise couriers as required.
  • Word processing as required
  • Archive where required
  • Adhere to office policies and procedures that contribute to the smooth functioning of the office;
  • Provide assistance to the Office Manager in their absence, and
  • Provide assistance to Management as required.
  • Input data into Client CRM as required.
  • Input supplier invoices: supplier payments, office expenses etc. into the accounting system as required.
