As the WHS Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of employees, implementing best practice WHS measures, and fostering a culture of safety on worksites across Southeast Queensland.
- Drive safety initiatives on worksites across Coolangatta, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, and Hope Island.
- Conduct safety audits and implement improvement practices to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders to build strong partnerships and drive positive safety outcomes.
Preferred Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Construction Site WHS
- Tertiary qualifications in WHS/Safety Management or related discipline (e.g. Cert IV WHS).
- Experience in safety audits, change management principles, and WHS change initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft, Hammer and Asunar.
- WHS Construction Induction (White) card, Current First Aid Certificate, and Class C Driver Licence.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in WHS/Safety Management or related discipline (e.g. Cert IV WHS).
- Experience in piling and dewatering construction.
- Current Class C Driver Licence.
- Current first aid certificate
- WHS Construction Induction (White) card.
