About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled WHS Consultant to join our team at Manpower Australia. As a WHS Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping our clients manage their compliance and legislative obligations while achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Industry Leaders: Work closely with our clients across various industries to understand their needs and deliver tailored risk mitigation strategies and solutions.
  • Manage Key Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and delivery of services.
  • Conduct Incident Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents, taking witness statements and technical reporting to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Facilitate Risk Assessments: Conduct site and desktop audits to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Develop WHS Management Plans: Create and implement WHS management plans, manuals, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation and industry standards.
  • Review and Develop WHS Management Systems: Regularly review and update WHS management systems to ensure they remain effective and compliant.
Requirements
  • Diploma in WHS: Minimum requirement of a Diploma in WHS or equivalent qualification.
  • Return to Work Coordinator Certificate: Highly desirable to have a Return to Work Coordinator Certificate.
  • Professional Experience: 2-3 years of varied professional experience within WHS, across a range of industries.
  • Working Knowledge of WHS Legislation: Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and Codes of Practice.
  • Proven Ability to Develop and Maintain Strong Client Relationships: Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • High Level of Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to Travel: Flexibility to travel to client sites as required.
  • Current Full Driver's Licence: Current full driver's licence.
