The Opportunity On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency, we are looking for an APS6 Risk Advisor.
This is a 12-month assignment based in Richmond or Geelong.

The role will work a hybrid arrangement, Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day and will be paying $60.26 per hour plus super.

You will support Service Delivery and its leadership team to proactively manage operational and strategic risks, obligations and audit issues.

Responsibilities include; Assisting with facilitating risk discussions and reviews with risk owners, applying the Risk Management Framework.
Analysing trends in mitigating risks, minimising potential exposure and harness opportunities.

Assisting with delivery of risk management training and education programs, building risk management knowledge, skills and tools across all work areas.

Maintaining relationships with other risk and assurance teams within the agency, ensuring appropriate management of shared risks and issues.
Providing input into the preparation of risk reporting to Service Delivery stakeholders.
Providing administrative support of the Integrated Risk Management System (IRMS) used to manage risks, incidents and issues.

To be considered for this role you will demonstrate; Prior experience in a similar role Strong risk management skills and experience Outstanding stakeholder engagement/management skills Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail Experience within Project Management would be advantageous MS Office skills including Share Point and MS Excel As this role is with a Federal Government Agency, applicants are required to be Australian Citizens.
