Claims Management roles are both challenging and rewarding. We work with people during difficult times to support them in their recovery and return to work, and in doing so we can make a positive impact to people’s lives, their employer, and the broader community.

Operational Claims Management APS6 roles work within teams responsible for the direct management of claims either by Comcare or service providers. APS6 roles are titled ‘Senior’ to indicate:

- the experience and capability expected in these roles and
- the leadership and supervisory expectations of these roles within the team and group.

APS6 team members will be accountable for more complex, higher risk work and the work requires high level cognitive skills and resilience. We have a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration across teams. All positions have a supportive team to help in delivering outcomes and work in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative way. Part-time working arrangements may be considered for these roles.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated experience in analysing information, risk management and using judgement to inform decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership to a team through motivating, mentoring and developing employees.
- Resilient, responsive and collaborative with a proven commitment to individual and team outcomes.
- Strong communications, stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills.
- Experience working with legislation in service delivery operations.
