Role


Due to rapid growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Clinical professional to join our team in Auburn NSW.

This newly created role will provide expertise, leadership and direction in Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) as well clinical matters.

The successful applicant through their clinical expertise will ensure a safe, compliant and comfortable environment for all residents in Gallipoli Home.


  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to deliver quality clinical solutions including IPC, compliance, quality improvement, clinical governance and risk management
  • Use evidencebased clinical skills to prioritise the risk to residents and improve the quality of care in the Home.
  • Provide advice in preventing, identifying, reporting, investigating, and controlling infections and communicable disease
  • Capacity to lead, guide and coach the clinical care team whilst maintaining professionalism
  • Ensure the clinical team provides a highquality personcentered care to residents
  • Manage and implement strategies to ensure compliance with accreditation and legislative requirements
  • Oversee completion of quality auditing processes
  • Analyse and report on Clinical Indicators including development of action plan to address areas for improvement

About you

  • Current AHPRA registration and a minimum five year of postregistration nursing experience
  • Clinical Team Leadership experience preferably within Aged Care
  • Qualification/training in Infection Prevention Control
  • Certificate IV in Frontline Management highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
  • Excellent clinical assessment skills and care planning capabilities
  • Highly developed communication, leadership and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent computer literacy in Word, Excel, Outlook
  • COVID vaccination (x 3 shots)
  • National Police Check
  • NDISWC
