How you’ll make an impact

The Marketing team takes a strategic approach to marketing aligned to AMP’s segment strategy and is responsible for the development and delivery of all marketing campaigns, collateral, customer engagement activity, data analysis, insights and digital.

The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of the marketing strategy and activity for Mortgage Brokers, Fixed income Brokers and Small Businesses; driving awareness, consideration, acquisition and engagement activities. You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies focused on our key audience cohorts: Mortgage Brokers, Fixed income brokers and small businesses. Your primary focus will be events, sponsorships and marketing campaigns aimed at achieving commercial outcomes by improving brand consideration, driving growth & engagement activities and building strong relationships. 

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Event Management: lead, design and execute webinars and events that drive a positive brand experience and drive deeper relationship for our key audience cohorts. 
  • Sponsorship agreements - Benefits Execution: Manage the execution and end-to end delivery of sponsorship benefits in line with aggregator agreements, ensuring we are maximising our investment and delivering effective brand representation. 
  • Drive end-to-end development and execution of data-driven, integrated marketing campaigns and activities across paid, owned and earned channels ensuring the campaign and content delivery is on time, within budget and meets all Legal and Regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Project Management: Oversee marketing projects from inception to completion, setting project timelines, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Merchandise Management: Manage all aspects of merchandise for events and sponsorships from design to distribution at aggregator events. 
  • Distribution team resource centre: Ensure our Distribution team is equipped with marketing materials for their day to day operations to drive awareness of key policy, product and process changes. 
  • Collaborative with Marketing and Bank stakeholders: build effective partnerships with key Bank stakeholders to align our marketing strategy with their growth strategy and gain a strong understand of our key audience cohorts. 
  • For your streams of work you will lead the timely and accurate tracking, analysis, reporting and optimisation of marketing performance, including Post Implementation Reviews (PIR’s), ensuring learnings and insights are incorporated into future campaigns and activities. Provide regular performance updates to the business to demonstrate the achievement of business targets  
  • As part of the overall intermediaries and business strategy, create, seek out and surface fresh ideas and opportunities to do things differently and test & learn 
  • Intermediaries and business marketing budget responsibility including forecasting, invoicing, reconciliation, and reporting.

What you will bring to the team

  • Experience in Marketing, communications, events or related disciplines 
  • Strong understanding of the financial services industry. Ideal but not required, knowledge of the B2B sector or mortgage broking industry. 
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines whilst juggling multiple tasks. 
  • Proven experience with end-to-end event management and sponsorship management 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and ability to create key audience cohort communications 
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • A passion for staying up to date on the latest marketing trends and emerging technologies.
  • Be a strategic thinker, proactive, accountable, and details-oriented, take initiative in a fast-paced business environment
  • Proven experience defining, implementing, and optimising marketing strategies across channels, preferably with experience in the Banking sector.
  • Proven success driving commercial results, on time and on budget.
  • Demonstrated ability managing and championing customer-centricity amongst other pressures.
  • Highly effective disciplines in planning, plan execution, prioritisation and stakeholder management.
