About The Role

As a Site Performance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in maximising our mining customers return on their fleet investments by providing technical support, advice on equipment optimization and analysing fleet performance data to drive improvements in overall asset performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilise fleet performance data to identify areas of focus/underperforming assets and provide solutions to drive improvement in asset performance
  • Working with customers on resolutions of unplanned downtime
  • Ensure service letter and updates are performed
  • Identify opportunities in relation to maintenance and operational proactive and technology options that impact machine performance and make recommendations for improvement
  • Identify sales opportunities and communicate these to MSR for actioning
  • Develop relationships with maintenance, reliability and production key contacts on site
  • Carry out wear management inspections

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Mechanical Trade Certificate plus minimum 5 years post trade experience working on CAT equipment
  • Proven customer service experience and relationship management
  • Experience maintaining Caterpillar Drills, Diggers, Dozers, Graders and Trucks
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment faults and recommend solutions
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to manage priorities
  • High level of initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Well developed ability to analyse asset health and performance data and compile reports
  • Familiarity with Catepillar programs such as SIS, ET, SIMSi, TMI (Desirable)
