Your key responsibilities will include:

Overseeing Daily Operations: Supervise and coordinate daily activities, ensuring that all team members adhere to established policies, procedures, and standards of service.

Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to staff members to enhance their performance and customer service skills. Managing Reservations and Seating: Coordinate restaurant reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and maximize revenue. Maintain awareness of reservation availability, special requests, and seating preferences to accommodate guest needs. Assign tables to servers and ensure that seating assignments are fair and equitable.

Quality Control and Hygiene Standard: Ensure that food preparation, presentation, and service meet established quality and hygiene standards. Conduct regular inspections of kitchen and dining areas to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with health regulations. Address any issues or deficiencies promptly and take corrective action as necessary.

Supervise opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, security checks, and facility maintenance.

Train employees on emergency procedures, first aid techniques, and proper handling of hazardous materials.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Supervisor, with a minimum of 3 year in the similar role.
  • Have a minimum knowledge of being a supervisor in restaurant environment.
  • Effective communication and strong personality.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Familiarity with pointofsale systems and cash handling procedures.
  • Valid RSA.
  • Weekend availability.
  • Ability to handle highpressure/dynamic situations professionally and calmly.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Positive and friendly demeanor.
  • Extensive knowledge of drink recipes, preparation methods, and presentation techniques.
