A great opportunity has become available for an experienced Compensation and Benefit Manager to join the corporate team at our Sydney head office.

The Compensation benefits managers is responsible for the operational implementation and management of Thales compensation strategy to ensure we have an effective and compliant reward solution. As part of this process this roles is responsible for the management of the annual reward cycles including salary and incentive calculations and payments to our employees.

KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Compensation Benefits Manager, you are accountable for:

Manage the implementation of compensation and benefits programs to ensure consistency and compliance with company objectives and industry standards Direct analysis to ensure effective management control of Reward policy. Manage the Australian based benefits program and ensure that it is market competitive Supporting communication and often delivering information to employee/manager groups. Manage International mobility in and out of Australia including offers/costing, visas, vendor management Manage the annual remuneration cycles for salary and incentives Manage the Salary benchmarking for senior roles Provide advice on compensation program to HR and the organisation

KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:

A tertiary degree and/or formal qualification in Human Resource Management or a relevant business field. Experience with Salary benchmarking tools Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits structures, relevant laws and regulations, and industry best practices. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced ability to lead all and/or part of a project and participating teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain rapport with key contributors. Highly proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite programs including Word, Excel and Outlook.
