Position Overview
As a Compensation and Benefits Analyst, you will ensure the effective execution of essential remuneration processes on both a global and local scale, adhering to compliance standards while aligning with overarching reward strategies and principles. This position necessitates close collaboration with various HR functions that support the workforce in scope.
Core Compensation Responsibilities
- Executing, communicating, and overseeing compensation initiatives and total rewards projects in accordance with the Global Total Rewards framework.
- Delivering both global and local compensation initiatives for all eligible employees.
- Assisting in the rollout of global reward processes, including Annual Salary Review, Salary Increase Budget planning, and updates to Salary Structures.
- Ensuring local adherence to Total Rewards framework documents and guidelines.
- Proposing revisions to compensation policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Guaranteeing local compliance in compensation matters, including optional benefits and mobility.
- Implementing a local Salary Review Process that aligns with global standards.
- Facilitating communication and implementation of Job Framework, including local calibration discussions.
- Conducting various compensation analyses, such as equal pay assessments.
- Supporting the global survey submission process by providing local policy, practice, and compensation data.
- Assisting in the global salary increase budget planning process and ensuring alignment with HR.
Employee Data Management
- Overseeing local PeopleData compensation data governance to ensure alignment with global standards.
- Ensuring local readiness of all systems and tools utilized for total rewards delivery.
- Conducting regular reviews of employee data to maintain consistency and high data quality.
- Analyzing employee data and compensation trends.
Advisory Role
- Assisting HR in interpreting and consistently applying compensation practices.
- Advising HR on compensation offers that deviate from recommended guidelines.
- Conducting training sessions on various aspects of Total Rewards for HR, Managers, or Employees.
- Analyzing both external and internal compensation data to provide proactive Total Rewards guidance.
Qualifications
To excel as a Compensation and Benefits Analyst, you should be a subject matter expert in core compensation processes and tools, including base pay, variable pay, and job architecture. You should be data-driven, analytical, and possess strong problem-solving abilities while handling sensitive information. Additionally, effective communication skills and the ability to influence diverse stakeholders are essential. You should approach tasks and projects analytically, conceptually, and methodically, maintaining a resilient and achievement-oriented mindset.
Key Competencies:
- Experience with strategies and plans related to base compensation, benefits, rewards, variable pay, and job role frameworks.
- Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Confident communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, with the capability to visualize and analyze data.
- Experience in Compensation Analysis.
- Knowledge of market policies and practices, with the ability to analyze market data.
- Project management skills, including planning and timeline management.
- A Bachelor's degree in human resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working with compensation programs.

This is a full-time position reporting to the Country Sales HR Manager for AUNZ.
