About the Role
We are currently seeking to appoint a Shared Services Payments and Payables Consultant with a leading NSW Government agency. The role is to process a range of payments and payables as well as more complex

accounts payable transactions.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Prepare supplier statement reconciliations
  • Prepare and process all scheduled payment runs for Supplier, Payroll, Cashback, Drives & Employee Expenses
  • Investigation and resolve aged items on the Accounts Payable ledger across all agencies
  • Prepare cash forecasting in line with Treasury expectations
  • Provide daily notification of outgoings to Treasury

About You

  • Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and/or banking and revenue, including the management and resolution of disputes and discrepancies.
  • Previous Government experience beneficial.
  • Demonstrated experience using multiple computerbased systems and ability to learn new systems with ease.
  • Full working rights in Australia
