**The Role**

**Duties**
- Oversight of verification, claims and subsidy work, ensuring maximum outcomes.
- Utilize key stakeholders for support and advice to ensure that all outcome claims are actioned according to most recent compliance guidelines to avoid recoveries.
- Calling on support networks for the consistent and timely management of actions to obtain the necessary evidence required to process claims.
- Nurture effective relationships.
- Ensure outcomes and claims are processed within compliance guidelines and required timeframe.
- Maintain accurate and up to date information in all relevant database or systems relating to the specifics of each record.
- All necessary system changes are completed in timely manner.
- Provide high quality customer service.
- Have a professional and mature approach to dealings with all stakeholders.
- Positively respond to all internal and external queries in a timely manner
- Accountable and responsible for completion of own individual workload in full, in a timely manner, ensuring that no back log of work is created.
- Manage and strive for the achievement of own key performance indicators.
- Provide Team Leader with feedback regarding operations of the team and/or issues that impact on the team.
- Identify and participate in correcting issues that may adversely affect the team’s performance.
- Assist other team members as required/requested. Eg. national service center, wage subsidies
- Participate in performance appraisals.
- Attend and contribute to meetings, briefings and information sessions to understand matters relating to the program and employment.

**Key Skills capabilities and Qualifications**:

- Claims experience not required - teaching will be provided.
- Demonstrated experience in KPI results-based environment.
- You must enjoy working in a compliance driven environment where an audit / forensic approach to work is required.
- Strong financial acumen and business administration experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Confident and courteous telephone manner
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills for external party support/evidence gathering.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise judgement, set priorities and schedule work to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and strong compliance focus.
