Job Description

One of the leading consumer businesses in Australia, a highly successful enterprise business going through a vast transformation, is looking for an Enterprise Architect to join the IT Strategy & Architecture team.

An exciting role with a diverse range of responsibilities, including the development of enterprise architecture strategies (ERP, Warehouse Operations and Enterprise Monitoring), artefacts (business, data, applications and technology domains) and roadmaps, providing architecture support to delivery programs and managing enterprise architecture governance.

As a greenfield project, the Enterprise Architect will initially do an assessment of the current state of the ERP and WMS applications and systems, collect the pain points in the ERP systems from different businesses, understand the current complexities, then design a roadmap and long term strategy of the end state and how to get there and build all capabilities from scratch.

The role will also consider change management processes and adoption strategies, evaluate new and existing technologies, monitor performance, assess their impact and suitability and make recommendations for optimization and improvement ensuring optimal value for the organisation.

Must haves for the role include:

  • A minimum of 10 years experience in technology, with 5 years experience in Enterprise Architecture within an enterprise environment.
  • Proven experience in designing and maintaining the overall enterprise architecture strategy, including defining principles, standards and guidelines for technology solutions.
  • Experience in evaluating new technologies, tools, and frameworks to assess their impact and suitability for the organisation.
  • Experience in stakeholder management to effectively communicate technical concepts and proposals to non-technical stakeholders, C-level executives and business leaders - someone confident enough to effectively engage with top management yet equally capable to effectively communicate with non-technical stakeholders from different business units.
  • Knowledge in change management principles and methodologies to navigate organisational change and ensure successful adoption of new technology solutions.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity threats, data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Solid knowledge in ERP software such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics, including cloud-based solutions.
  • Preferred experience in ERP and WMS
  • TOGAF

The role will suit someone comfortable in a fast paced, enterprise environment, who is not afraid to role up their sleeves to get things done. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement requiring work in the office 3 days per week, based in CBD.
