  • Seek Pathway opportunities and maintain pathway register
  • Stay informed about ELICOS standards and National Code
  • Participate in industry seminars and professional development activities related to academic compliance
  • Contribute to curriculum development and benchmarking of programs as needed
  • Recruit and onboard new teaching staff
  • Maintain records of teaching staff hours, holidays, and sickness for payroll and organization of teaching cover when necessary
  • Plan and oversee professional development for teaching staff, including weekly briefings, workshops, observations, mentoring, performance reviews, and feedback
  • Ensure classrooms are scheduled appropriately for various courses and programs
  • Schedule teachers according to their teaching load requirements, experience, and competencies
  • Place students in classes based on level, interests, and learning needs
  • Work with projected student numbers to meet demand for classes
  • Collaborate with management to achieve financial and academic KPIs
  • Address student feedback, questions, or complaints about academic matters
  • Coordinate and conduct student tutorials and mentoring when necessary
  • Supervise regular assessment of students throughout their course
  • Test, induct, and monitor student learning on long and short-term programs
  • Manage academic resources including teaching materials, supplementary materials, and ICT resources
  • Ensure compliance of academic programs with accreditation and quality assurance bodies
  • Maintain records of staff's Working With Children Checks and police checks
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and requirements related to academic programs
  • Review English and aesthetics for sales and marketing tools and campaigns
