As the Executive Director, Local Planning and Council Support you will provide professional and organisational leadership in the assessment of council and proponent-lead planning proposals.

You will lead a group of regionally based Directors managing a suite of complex planning issues across the state; and will be responsible for consulting with councils on all local planning matters.

About You To be successful in this role, you will be a dynamic, solution-focussed leader with a strong rezoning or local government planning background.

Your high-level communication skills and your ability to build effective stakeholder relationships will be the key to success in this interesting and varied role as you will be required to collaborate across the department and NSW government.
