The Role:


As a Lending Operations Consultant, you will provide administrative support to BankVic by ensuring the timely, accurate and secure processing of secured and unsecured credit products, including settlements/discharges, and post loan maintenance.

You will have a strong member focus and provide high quality service to our members.

Please note, this role is a 12-month fixed term contract.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accurate completion of credit contracts and credit assessment approvals
  • Provide instruction of mortgage documents and coordinate settling fundings with BankVic's service providers
  • Prepare credit facility documentation and delivery
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including interstate panel of solicitors, to ensure timely funding/settlements
  • Maintain a high level of procedural knowledge to ensure accuracy and comply with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Who we're looking for:


You are a strong team player, who has a desire to be challenge and willingness to learn, high-level of accuracy and attention to detail and has demonstrated experience in lending/settlements processing in the financial/banking sector.


  • Previous experience in financial services, lending/settlements services and securities lending/settlements processings, including PEXA and/or conveyancing role
  • RG146 Tier 2 Certification and relevant (minimum) qualifications required in RG 206 (credit)
  • Strong knowledge and understand of financial services, loan funding and settlements processes
  • Knowledge of Loan origination or Ultracs program is desired
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel
