About the Role

As a Senior Departmental Liaison Officer, you will act as the vital link between the Minister's office and the Department, ensuring a smooth flow of information, managing briefings, correspondence, and process improvements. Immerse yourself in the dynamic world of relationship and people management to devise essential solutions crucial for efficient information management. The role may involve overseeing a small team of Departmental staff.

  • Establish strong relationships between the Minister's office, the Department, and other ministerial offices as necessary.
  • Supervise and lead a small team of Departmental staff.
  • Manage administrative tasks, communication, and decision-making processes between the Minister's office and the Department.
  • Devise strategies and solutions that enhance information management between the department and ministerial offices.
  • Offer expert advice to senior executives on administrative matters and liaise effectively across different departments.
