About the Opportunity


In this role, you will work to support specialist family violence and sexual assault services in the Inner Eastern metropolitan area, including The Orange Door Network, to better respond to people with disability and ensure they can access the services and supports they need to be safe and recover from violence.


You will draw on your knowledge of, and networks in, the disability sector to identify opportunities to seed, grow and strengthen inter-organisational relationships.

Advocating, educating and building robust networks and referral pathways, you will enhance FVREE and other FV services' ability to respond to people with disability, and remove systemic barriers to engagement.

About you


You'll have a solid background in family violence practice and experience and/or understanding of the disability sector and the barriers faced by people with disability.


People describe you as a skilled collaborator who can build relationships and influence a wide and diverse group of stakeholders.

You're able to see things at a systems level and think creatively. You are comfortable working autonomously, consulting and updating the right people along the way.
