Family Violence Practice Manager

The Magistrates' Court of Victoria is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Violence Practice Manager to lead our Specialist Family Violence Court team at Heidelberg Magistrates' Court.
As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic leadership and supervision to support the delivery of the Specialist Family Violence Court model, ensuring the highest standards of practice and service delivery.
You will lead a team of specialist family violence practitioners, working closely with affected family members and respondents to provide brief intervention support, develop safety plans, and advocate for and refer individuals to appropriate services and programs.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in family violence, including drivers, risks, and issues that can exacerbate family violence risk. You will have a proven track record in managing and leading specialist family violence staff and teams in complex organisational environments.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will hold a relevant tertiary qualification in a related therapeutic discipline, such as social work, psychology, or social sciences. You will also have a strong understanding of the Victorian family violence system and the role of the Magistrates' Court in responding to family violence.
You will be a strategic thinker, with excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
