The Opportunity:


Visy Recycling have been awarded the privilege of helping to deliver Victoria's Container Deposit Scheme, CDS Vic, which will go-live in November 2023.

The scheme will reward Victorians with a 10-cent refund for every eligible can, carton and bottle they return.


Visy Recycling are an industry leader who collect, receive and sort nearly 2 million tonnes of paper, cardboard, glass, plastics, steel and aluminum from Australian and New Zealand households, businesses and schools recovering the greatest amount of material we can at our MRFs and sorting facilities.


Based out of our office location in Tullamarine and reporting to the CDS Contracts and Relationship Manager, this is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a truly dynamic and driven people person that loves to be busy and connect with different types of people.

As a highly self-motivated, autonomous and proactive Relationship Coordinator. You will be tasked with onboarding our Over the Counter redemption point operators.

These will largely be small business and not for profit entities, who will require your assistance to educate them on the requirements to participate.

You will be joining an outcome driven and supportive team who will bring you up to date on Victoria's Container Deposit Scheme to ensure your success.

You understand the importance of face to face communication and building lasting relationships which you can utilise in the field, to support the community.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Proactively follow up on internal and external inbound leads
  • Self manage your activity to achieve our key project outcomes
  • Work side by side with the Project team to ensure ongoing targets are met in line with requirements
  • Liaise with identified organisations to educate, onboard and support as they begin their partnership with Visy
