About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team at Relationship Matters. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing a diverse range of bookkeeping, payroll, reporting, and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Process and reconcile payroll, including employee benefits and deductions.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including SCHADS Award and Acts.
  • Develop and implement financial processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees and management.

Requirements

  • Masters/Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Diploma in Accounting.
  • Minimum 6+ years' experience in Payroll and Accounts in the NFP Sector.
  • Proficiency in end-to-end payroll and accounts processing.
  • Knowledge of SCHADS Award, Acts, and compliance regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Xero (essential) and Employment Hero Payroll (preferred).
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience with a Client Management System in a service-based organisation or ability to learn.
