About the Role:


Established for over 30 years, our Client is one of the leading injection and blow mould manufacturers in Australia, providing various packaging supplies for the Medical, Building, FMCG, Sport and Recreation, and Automotive industries.

This role is replacing an existing staff member, who has been with the business for over 20 years


Reporting to the Directors, you will have one direct report and be responsible for a wide range of Office and Accounting functions, including bookkeeping, liaising with external Accountants, producing meaningful business reports for Management, daily PA support, answering and directing calls and general Customer Service and Office Administration.


We are looking for someone who has strong Bookkeeping and Administration skills and the ability to utilise their initiative to improve and maintain existing processes and procedures.

Duties:

  • Oversee and manage administrative & bookkeeping functions, including AP, AR, Debt Collection & Reconciliations
  • Review and manage office facilities such as IT, Telephones, Stationary etc
  • Oversee, train and mentor one administration team member
  • Maintain company records, licences, registrations and ensure compliance of same
  • Prepare relevant weekly, monthly and annual reports
  • Reconciliation and payment of BAS, Credit Cards, PAYG & Superannuation

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • High level of Bookkeeping & Administrative skills
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail, and excellent time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet business & accounting deadlines
  • Current Cert IV in Bookkeeping, preferable
  • High level MS Word & Excel & Quickbooks knowledge desirable
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems
