About Northparkes

Established in 1994, Northparkes is recognized for its innovative technology and dedicated team. Using various mining methods including open pit and sub-level caving, it was the first Australian mine to employ block cave mining. About the Position

As the People & Culture (P&C) Manager, reporting to the General Manager NPO, you collaborate with the business to ensure the site meets its medium to long-term objectives. This role aids in creating a motivated, skilled workforce. Taking charge of the P&C function, you will be an integral part of the site leadership team, focusing on developing a high-performing leadership team and shaping a positive future for the business.

Additional key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Leading change management for major P&C projects and initiatives
  • Enhancing organizational effectiveness in the people space
  • Implementing operational training and support systems
  • Advising and coaching in the employee relations space
  • Overseeing key P&C cycles such as remuneration and talent review

This role is situated at our Northparkes site, ideally in Parkes or nearby areas, with potential for DIDO. A comprehensive salary package is offered, including housing and vehicle allowances, relocation support, incentives, and other benefits.

About You

We are looking for an individual with extensive experience in a generalist P&C role at a senior level within a medium to large organization. Your background should include leadership in dynamic environments and site-based P&C roles, preferably in mining or similar industries. Expertise in contemporary P&C practices, organizational development, and change initiatives is crucial for leading large-scale change programs and aligning P&C plans with operational strategies.

You should have a strong leadership presence and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders. Modeling inclusive leadership and driving a high-performance culture are core expectations. Demonstrating behaviors in line with Evolution Mining values is essential.
