Our team are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Aviation Events & VIP Coordinator

What you'll do:


As an Aviation Events & VIP Coordinator, you'll be responsible for delivering world-class aviation events on and off Perth Airport's estate and ensuring the smooth facilitation of VIPs and MICE traffic through Perth Airport.


You'll plan and coordinate events, lead and liaise with external event managers, work with teams across Perth Airport, manage budgets, and engage with internal and external stakeholders.

Routes Asia 2025 is a key upcoming event on our events calendar.

You will be involved in the logistics planning and creative marketing process as well as being responsible for overseeing the set-up, the smooth running of the event, the set down and follow-up processes with the support of an events company.


About you:


You will have relevant events management experience, excellent communication and diplomacy skills, and project management skills related to events, including budget management and contract negotiations.


You will have the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, with the ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative and resilience with a self-motivated and customer centric attitude.


An events management qualification is preferred., International events experience, prior experience in an airport environment and second language skills are advantageous.
