Youi has a rare leadership opportunity in Melbourne for an energetic and values driven State Manager - Vehicle & Leisure.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with network repairers to ensure high standards of customer satisfaction
- Monitor the performance of network repairers including cost, quality, and customer service; and prove options for improvement
- Ensure network repairers appreciate all communications with our customers to be of the highest standard and provide Awesome Service (one of Youi's values) at every opportunity
- Ensure network repairers provide safe repairs to customers' vehicles by adhering to quality repair framework
- Ensure overall assessment TAT is within target
- Maintain ratios at desired levels
- Develop staff through coaching sessions
- Create development plans where necessary and follow through
- Create, maintain, and promote an environment that encourages employee wellbeing, promotes positive behaviours and is safe for our staff
- Identify opportunities to contribute and improve overall efficiency and regulatory compliance whilst upholding all Youi values
- In your role as a Leader within the business you will comply with all Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures within Youi, ensuring that all reasonable steps are taken to ensure personal safety and the safety of others in the workplace.
About you
As you can imagine, this role will be challenging, but we believe that the rewards outweigh the challenges.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about making sure that we deliver our promise to customers to get their vehicles back on the road and that no customer is left behind.
Therefore, it's important that you can bring the following demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities:- Trade qualification in either body repairs, spray painting or as a mechanic
- Grade 12 completion preferable, but not mandatory
- Strong assessing experience (>3 years)
- Excellent people management and leadership experience
- Intermediate computer skills
- Knowledge of and/or adherence to Conflict Resolution Processes
- Experience within a qualitycontrolled working environment
- The ability to lead a group of people to achieve documented team/business targets
- High level understanding of Insurance products, contractual legislation, regulatory frameworks, and Industry Codes for al States of operation
- Knowledge of statistics, data collection, analysis and date presentation and reports
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Dispute resolution skills
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to embrace change in a fastpaced environment
- Ability to build relationships with internal and stakeholders
