Assistant Nursing/midwifery Director

The purpose of this role is to:
- Provide education advice and leadership to support and advance the continuum of learning for nurses/midwives and undergraduate and postgraduate nursing/midwifery education services that effectively contribute to clinical practice standards and the achievement of a sustainable, professional capable person focused workforce within the health environment.
- Respect demonstrates interpersonal savvy, proactively develops relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, diffuses high tension effectively and delivers messages clearly while maintaining respect and effective interactions with diverse groups of stakeholders.
- Teamwork role models collaborative behaviour and consistently uses a range of strategies to develop others. Fosters a team environment that values and supports differences while recognising the inherent value and contribution of individuals to achieve optimal outcomes.
