Salary range between $677.25 to $812.70 per week ($35,311 to $42,374 per annum % Superannuation.

The role of Booking's Officer is responsible for providing a high standard of quality customer service and creating value to the community.

You will be coordinating bookings for our Open Space assets and completing all administration functions associated with Council's open space assets.

This position is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to become an integral part of the team.

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

_ Key activities of this role include:_

  • You will be responsible for completing administrative tasks associated with the position which may include telephone enquiries, requisition of goods, works and services as well as the Council's assets;
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on the use of Council managed open spaces assets and facilities as well as ensuring stakeholders are issued with permission and licences before utilising assets and facilities;

Ensure that inspections of Council's managed open space hired facilities are undertaken following the use and provide inspection feedback to Supervisor;

  • Identify opportunities and implement procedures to reduce administration workload impacts within the Open Space and Recreation Unit

_Essential Criteria:
_


  • Certificate III qualification in Business Administration or related field OR demonstrated solid contemporary experience in a similar role ,combined with ongoing professional development;
  • Class C Drivers Licence;
  • Previous experience in a customer service or bookings related role;
  • Demonstrated extensive administrative and/or office management experience, including accurate data entry and the use of computers and software packages;
  • Demonstrated experience in the preparation of letters and reports including drafting, editing and presentation;
  • Proven ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that satisfactory work outcomes and communication links are achieved and maintained;
  • Proven ability to work independently and to plan and coordinate work priorities.
