An excellent and diverse opportunity for a dynamic and driven Clinical Practice Officer in the Public Service. This position is with a government department that strives to make real change in the lives of extraordinary Australians.

In this role, you will provide a diverse range of duties to ensure the smooth operation of clinical hub. This will include some reception duties and phone support for clients who are accessing the department’s services in the first instance. In addition, you will provide extensive administrative support for a team of counsellors and psychologists including coordination of a wide range of tasks and appointments, helping with reporting, and staff onboarding duties.

The role extends to include assistance with regional meetings, financial duties, and help with contracts.
- This role would ideally suit someone who has previous experience in medical administration, with duties extending in to practice management.**Duties**:

- In-center counsellor support _
- Deliver a professional, efficient and welcoming reception service
- Client appointment and SMS reminder service
- Counsellor support: diary management, room bookings, administrative support
- Wider program support _
- Outreach: billing and invoicing, recruitment and on boarding support, compliance and
audit checks, reports
- Groups: compliance and audit checks, event management, reports
- Community Engagement: event management, resources, reports
- Office Management and Executive Support _
- Assist the Practice Manager in the supervision and work allocation to Service Support
Officers
- Assist the Practice Manager in the management of the centre’s property, resources,
assets and IT requirements
- Provide secretariat and administrative support for the region’s meeting schedule
- Finance and Contract Management _
- Assist with managing contracts and associated documentation
- Manage the region’s clinical supervision contracts, official orders and attendance/invoice register
- Reconcile credit cards and ensure regional invoices are processed accurately and timely
