The role of Events Assessment Officer is responsible for coordinating bookings for special events at Central Coast Council's (CCC) community assets for the community, businesses, schools and other organisations in an equitable and efficient manner.

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.


Council will also be creating an eligibility list from this recruitment process and may utilise this eligibility list to fill other Events Officer vacancies.


_ Key activities of this role include:_

  • Undertake administrative functions associated with the position including telephone enquiries, requisition of goods, works and services, effective management and updating CCC's booking system for community assets
  • Effectively liaise with schools, community groups, commercial organisations, the general public and CCC staff to issue licences and permission to use Council's facilities

This role provides a commencing salary range of between $370.81 to $444.95 per week (based on 11 hours per week) dependent on skills and experience + 11% superannuation.

Flexible/hybrid working arrangements currently applies to this role.
