My client, a well-established Investment Funds Management Business, are looking for their new Manager of Investor Relations.

If you are an experienced Account or Relationship Manager, with a background of working within the Investment or Alternative Assets sector of Financial Services, who enjoys partnering with internal Fund Managers and being that key contact person to external investors then this is the perfect opportunity for you.


My client offers you a 6 month hourly rate contract, with the opportunity of a permanent role upon completion and describes their culture as caring and people first with 3-4 days of working from home flexibility to help you get the best out of yourself.


What will you be doing and what a day in the life of will be?

  • You will be the first point of contact for postinvestment communications, and action all inbound
  • You will operationalise an internal and external SLA (Service Level Agreement).
Requirements.

  • You will assist with the coordination and hosting of investor webinars.
  • You will gather requirements for process improvement using investor feedback from
individual customers.

  • You will proactively follow up with multiple group parties to achieve customer answers within the agreed
timeframes.

  • You will have oversight of complaints this will include, Understanding of this requirement under the companies Compliance Plans, management of the complaints registers in cooperation with the Compliance Manager
  • You will have Knowledge of IDR and EDR processes and timeframes, and the ability to resolve customer issues
and respond to queries within required timeframes whilst limiting the cost to the business at

various stages.

  • You will enjoy Building relationships with EDR agencies and understand their remit and requirements.
  • You will challenge EDR decisions and preempt EDR decisions when required working with the Compliance team

Your previous experience might look like?

  • You might have 4 years' experience working in the financial services sector, especially customerfacing and complaint handling.
  • You have an understanding of different corporate entities and investment vehicles and how they work together.
  • You have a passion for communicating with stake holders, through multiple mediums, whether they be internal or external.
  • You are highly organised, with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise, whilst using a companywide task management system.
  • You might have previous experience with Salesforce, Google Suite, Apple IOS Products, Asana (Task Management) and XERO
