About the Position
The Design Engineer role in our Product Care Team involves collaborating with stakeholders to enhance product quality, reduce warranty service calls, and lower costs.
Responsibilities
- Main focus on electrical components
- Design, develop, and integrate electric components into mechanical assemblies.
- Modify electrical harness wiring.
- Coordinate with vendors for PCB changes and ensure cost-effective electronic board design.
- Utilize CAD system for electric project specifications and cost-saving ideas.
- Manage cost-saving projects for mechanical and electrical aspects.
- Support team members in project execution.
- Update bill of materials and engineering change notices.
- Coordinate prototyping, quality verification, sourcing, and production approval.
- Conduct failure analysis and risk assessments.

Position based in Dudley Park, Adelaide manufacturing facility within the Research and Development team.
