Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in a short-term contract position. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for creating 3D CAD mechanical designs and detailed manufacturing drawings. Your expertise in electro-mechanical product design will be essential in developing innovative solutions for our clients in the biomedical, healthcare, and consumer markets.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products and support the transition from design to manufacturing
* Identify and implement design improvements and troubleshoot production issues
* Build prototypes and conduct mechanical testing

Requirements:

* 3-5 years of experience in electro-mechanical product design
* Proficient in 3D CAD systems (Solidworks preferred)
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including plastics and metals
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* A proactive, self-motivated engineer with great communication skills
