About the Role
  1. Design and develop virtual 3D models using CAD software, driving innovation and precision.
  2. Create GA drawings for customer approval, ensuring seamless communication.
  3. Compile 3D models and drawings for issue to the production team or third-party manufacturers, streamlining processes.
  4. Develop manufacturing drawings for metal fabrication, combining creativity with technical expertise.
  5. Collaborate with a team of engineers and manufacturers to identify design improvements and drive efficiency.
  6. Assist in the implementation of new machinery, embracing change and innovation.
  7. Monitor and assess current designs, identifying potential improvements and enhancements throughout the assembly process.
Requirements
  1. Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design qualifications, providing a solid foundation for success.
  2. At least one year of experience in a similar 3D product design role, with a proven track record of delivering results.
  3. Sound knowledge of 3D mechanical design and AutoCAD software, with a focus on precision and accuracy.
  4. Previous experience in steel fabrication is an advantage, but not essential for this role.
  5. Attention to detail and strong computer literacy, with a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends.
  6. Permanent residency or Australian Citizenship, ensuring a stable and secure future.
