About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to assist in the delivery of civil works associated with a 163 dwelling village. The role will involve a mix of site and office-based work, reporting to the Project Manager. Key responsibilities include:

  • Contractor management on behalf of the Developer
  • Construction site inspections for civil construction milestones
  • Project programming and reporting of progress and construction budgets
  • Contract management
  • Contract administration, including reviewing and responding to contractor RFI's, variation requests, and EOT's
  • Collaboration with the building contractor to coordinate delivery of site works and facilitate construction of dwellings

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • A current Class C Driver's license
  • The ability to read and interpret design drawings and specifications
  • Experience in administering and a thorough understanding of General Conditions of Contracts, such as AS4000
