About the Role:

D.I.S.E offers a fulfilling, life-enriching experience in mentoring and supporting people with disabilities. We prioritize developing our participants' goals and the relationships between support workers and participants.

We believe it's more than just assigning a worker to a participant; it's about finding a true connection between a participant and a support worker who will enjoy spending time together.

Working with D.I.S.

E, you'll help people with disabilities achieve their goals, work toward independent living, and engage proactively within their communities through a range of support services, including:

  • Assistance to Social and

Community Participation:
Enabling participants to engage in community, social, and recreational activities.

  • In-

Home Support:
Assisting with domestic duties, routines, cooking, cleaning, and financial skills.

  • Transport Services: Safely transporting participants to appointments, school, work, and community activities.
  • Assistance with and Development of Daily Living and

Life Skills:

Helping participants become more independent in daily skills, such as personal care, public transport awareness, financial skills, budgeting, pursuing studies or work, obtaining a driver's license, and more.

Skills and Experience:

  • A current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • A current National Police Check
  • A current driver's license (P1+P2 accepted) and access to a roadworthy vehicle
  • A current First Aid and CPR Certificate or proof of enrolment into a course
  • Proof of right to work in Australia
