Downer are seeking an Injury Management Officer, based in our Underdale, Adelaide Office.

As an individual working within a high-performing national team you will support Downer's South Australian region in providing effective Injury Management for workplace injury claims.

Reporting to the Group Manager - Injury Management the role will have several focus areas:

  • Strategic management of injuries and claims portfolio;
  • Working with a variety of stakeholders within the business;
  • Assist with providing coaching and training for line manager and supervisor;
  • Day to day management of lodging and administering claims.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Several years' experience in a similar role;
  • Working knowledge of Workers Compensation and Injury Management South Australian legislation;
  • Development and drive of injury management initiatives;
  • Development and drive of claims management strategies
  • Developing return to work plans and duties;
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Team oriented
