About the role

We are delighted that due to the continued success and growth of our East Metals Quarries Division, we have a vacancy for a full time/permanent Administrator at our Townsville Office. The role will be responsible for providing all-round administrative support to allow the Team to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of products and services to customers, supporting key administrative functions and ensuring the day-to-day business runs smoothly.

Candidates must reside in the Townsville region.

What you will be doing

  • Providing administrative support to the team;
  • Ensuring visitors are signed in and inducted;
  • Coordinating office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies;
  • Warehouse and movement of freight;
  • Booking travel for team members as required; and
  • Processing and completing work orders in consultation with site supervisors.

What you will bring

  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role within an industrial environment (essential);
  • Tertiary qualifications in business administration or related (desirable);
  • Must have current Open driver's license
  • Obtain relevant police checks
  • Highly developed computer literacy using Microsoft Office Suite (experience using SAP would be highly regarded);
  • High attention to detail and a head for numbers;
  • Outstanding organisational and prioritising abilities;
  • The ability to build positive stakeholder relationships;
  • Proactive and creative problem-solving ability;
  • A sense of humour
