About the role:
We are currently seeking a Disability Service Manager for our SIL & Respite accommodations in Victoria.
This unique role is responsible for the full operation of staff rostering and adjustment, management of staff and data/records, full function and operation of accommodations and other service sector, while ensuring that the health and well-being of staff and participants are addressed.
Key responsibilities:

Service Delivery:Oversee the delivery of services, ensuring they are safe, respectful, client-centred, and aligned with individualized assessments and plans.

Client Intake and Assessment & Support:Facilitate the intake and assessment of new clients to the service. Experience in writing service agreements, schedule of supports and correctly interpreting the NDIS line items.

Budget and Planning:Develop and manage the SIL / Respite facility budget, ensuring financial sustainability and exploring funding opportunities.

Participation in household duties:Developing suitable and sustainable long-term community-based living options.

Staff Management:Ensure the coordination, guidance, support, and performance management of individual staff members.

Data and Records Management:Comply with legislative and administrative requirements in the creation, handling and reporting of information regarding clients, staff, and service delivery.

Occupational Health Safety and Welfare:Implementing and monitoring all policies, procedures, and work practices in line with WHS legislations and organisation requirements.

Relationship Management:Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, relevant community organizations, and other practitioners.
Selection Criteria:
- At least five years of experience in a management role in disability respite care or similar.
- Previous management experience working with a NDIS provider is essential
- A diploma in a related field of community services, disability, social or equivalent.
- Experience in managing a team and coordination with team leaders and external stakeholders
- Understand the compliances requirements within the NDIS framework
- Experience in conflict management and resolution
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel to the SIL houses and Respite Facilities
Mandatory Compliance Requirements:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Valid Victorian Working with Children Check
- Current First aid and CPR certificate
- Current Victorian Driver's License
- Satisfactory National Police Certificate obtained within the last 6 months.
