Working closely with our people leaders, you'll be coach to the General Manager and leadership team on all people-related issuesand they love itYour Day to Day
- Coaching and developing our people leaders
- Overseeing the recruitment and onboarding of new colleagues
- Ensure the hotel has the right people, in the right numbers, with the right skills, working the right hours to deliver awesome guest experiences
- Managing the systems and relationships to ensure our people are paid correctly and on time
- Managing and promptly resolving staff queries related to everything from payroll to workplace relations
- Coaching managers to resolve performance issues and workplace incidents
- Plan and manage initiatives related to the HG people calendar such as celebrations, recognition, engagement and wellbeing
- Developing and managing the role out of training initiatives
- We work as a team and every now and then you'll find yourself somewhere in the hotel getting to know the business at an operational level.
About you
- Min 3 years' experience in a senior HR Role this role could well suit an experienced BP working in a larger organisation, looking to take on an HRM role.
- Welldeveloped coaching skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, underpinned by a mature EQ
- Developed business acumen to understand budgets, forecasting, workforce planning and customer satisfaction
- Refined judgement, reasoning, relationship, and critical thinking skills
- An inquiring mind, with a willingness to ask the hard questions and try new things
- You have full working rights in Australia
