About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Human Resources Consultant to join our team at the Department for Education, Children and Young People.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level consultancy services and advice on injury management, including the investigation and management of complex workers compensation claims.
  • Coordinate rehabilitation and return to work arrangements to ensure effective people management services throughout the Department.
  • Perform functions of a Return to Work Coordinator in accordance with legislative and departmental requirements.
Requirements
  • Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013 compliance.
  • Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status - Employment).
  • Desirable: Membership of a relevant professional organisation, tertiary qualifications in human resources management or relevant field, or significant background in human resources management.
