About the Role

Axia Recruitment is proud to partner with Glamorgan Spring Bay Council in recruiting a proactive HR Business Partner in a dynamic local government setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and support on human resource matters, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and WHS compliance.
  • Manage recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes, aligning hires with Council's strategic direction.
  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures in line with legislative requirements.
  • Manage HR projects such as enterprise bargaining and organisational restructures.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, advocating for Council's interests in people-related matters.
Requirements
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field, with 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Current driver's licence and commitment to maintaining it.
About You
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, with a strong understanding of HR practices and employee relations.
  • Ability to case manage complex HR issues, including disputes and third-party adjudications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in negotiating and producing concise, accurate reports.
