About the Team
The Career Pathways Group is a multi-disciplinary team focused on delivering the capability required for the Australian Public Service to deliver now and into the future.
The APS Academy Campus program is a pilot of modern, technologically driven and collaborative working environments with a focus on activity-based working.
The Campuses will be the home office for staff from a variety of APS agencies who are working remotely to their home agency.
Many of the staff will also be managing undergraduate studies or training through APS entry level programs. The Campuses have been developed in partnership with regional Australian universities and participating agencies.About the Role
We are seeking two Campus Supervisors to manage and guide data and digitally focussed entry level program participants in the beginning of their public service career.
One role will be located at the University of Newcastle APS Academy Campus and the other at the James Cook University (Townsville) APS Academy Campus.
The Campus Supervisors will contribute to making the APS Academy Campus pilot successful by providing day to day pastoral care and career support to entry level program participants who are working remotely to their employing agencies.
The Campus Supervisors will need to develop a strong relationship with the participants' agency supervisors to ensure an overall good initial experience as an APS employee and will lead the APS Data and Digital Supervisors' Community of Practice.
The Campus Supervisor will partner with their APS Academy Campus Office Coordinator to develop a collaborative, professional and friendly workplace culture by clearly articulating and role modelling APS values and code of conduct while maintaining great workplace standards across all staff working from the campus.
