About the role


As Team Leader Lending Fulfilment, you will coach, mentor, and lead the Lending Fulfilment team to ensure Great Southern Bank are meeting their obligations under Responsible Lending and in a way that supports agreed performance outcomes.

You will role model our Great Southern Bank values, leading others to deliver a customer centric service and better-value banking for our customers.


The Lending Fulfilment Team is responsible for the end-to-end settlement process, inclusive of document preparation, execution, booking settlement procedures with PEXA & Dye Durham and same day funding, this ensures a smooth transition to settlement for our customers in accordance with process, policy, and procedure.


At Great Southern Bank, we are customer obsessed and you will be responsible for leading and engaging a team of 15+ people, ensuring high levels of customer experience and settlement satisfaction.


What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years' leadership experience in Financial Services or a related industry with exposure to resource planning, modelling, and scheduling
  • Demonstrated relationship management, consulting, negotiation, and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated strategic & tactical thinking with proven implementation of successful people strategies
  • A comprehensive understanding of the endtoend lending and settlement process
  • Minimum 5 years previous experience in people management, including coaching and mentoring staff to achieve team and organisational goals
  • Strong customer service ethic and the ability to successfully establish and maintain effective relationships
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Knowledge of Home Lending and Settlement systems, including PEXA, Dye &Durham and LendFast would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of relevant finance industry standards, acts, codes, and legislations (e.g., CCC, Code of Practice, Privacy Act
