We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our Technology & Transformation team at Heritage and People's Choice. As a Senior Lending Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a talented team of professionals who are dedicated to maintaining and enhancing our lending and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platforms.
Your primary focus will be on guiding the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of member-centric solutions that elevate the banking experience for both our members and employees. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our offerings are reliable, scalable, and aligned with strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Lending & ECM team, including conducting performance reviews, talent mapping, succession planning, and driving individual development.
- Provide expert guidance on operational activities, collaborating with Technical Leads on incidents, problem resolution, and integration projects.
- Work with architects and stakeholders to design scalable, reliable, and secure Lending & ECM solutions that meet business and compliance needs.
- Lead production changes, ensuring adherence to ITIL standards and maintaining Secure, Stable & Resilient (SSR) practices to minimize impacts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners and delivery leads, for seamless integration of Lending & ECM platforms.
- Promote the adoption of agile practices like Scrum or Kanban and encourage continuous improvement.
- Identify bottlenecks and work with the team to implement optimization strategies.
- Define testing strategies and conduct solution reviews to ensure high-quality deliveries.
- Communicate technical concepts and project updates effectively to management and relevant teams.
You will also be required to oversee and occasionally participate in an on-call schedule for the Lending & ECM team to maintain platform stability and availability, with appropriate compensation provided.
Occasional travel may be required as part of this role, and you will be leading and working within a distributed team.
About YouTo be considered, you will have proven leadership experience in IT operations, effectively managing both teams and technology. You will ideally have a track record of guiding a team to deliver complex software development and system configuration projects, as well as managing escalations when necessary. Strong collaboration skills are essential, as you will work closely with Technical Leads to enhance team knowledge and capabilities.
A thorough understanding of personal and residential lending processes within a financial institution is crucial for success in this role. We also seek:
- Solid leadership experience in financial services and IT operations.
- Experience configuring or managing a Loan Origination System (LOS) and modeling personal and residential lending processes.
- Knowledge of third-party platform integrations.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platforms.
